Camano Fire and Rescue ceremony: 11 a.m. to noon at 273 NW Camano Drive. Noon to 1 p.m.: Ribbon-cutting and ceremony to dedicate the fire station in honor of those who lost their lives. 1 to 4 p.m.: Community open house with station tours, food and activities for kids.

Everett Elks candlelight vigil: 7:30 p.m. Saturday in front of the Elks Lodge at 2802 Hoyt Ave. Lake Stevens Patriot Day ceremony: 10 a.m. at 12409 21st St. NE, in front of Fire Station 81. People are invited to stop by before 6 p.m. to sign a copy of a commemorative book.
